Greatest Dream Now: To raise money for charities all over the world

Amanda Andrade is our Office Administrator AND our Training Coordinator and she is known for being the "jack of all trades." She is a native San Diegan and left for four years to study communication at the University of California Santa Barbara. Amanda started as a volunteer and was quickly snapped up to be a part of the DMI team. She continues to enjoy helping others, handling all the details, creating our newsletter and managing our training programs/events. Amanda plans to continue her humanitarian work and dreams of one day having her own non-profit focused on children, our future.

Sarah Han, recently graduated from UC Riverside, with a B.A. in Asian Studies. During which, she studied abroad in Singapore and traveled throughout Southeast Asia. After returning from Singapore, she wanted to make a difference and started to work with several organizations at UC Riverside. Not only does she volunteer in Riverside, Sarah is also a regular volunteer for Project MotiVATe: Mentoring Vietnamese American Teens a mentorship program in Orange County. Sarah is back in San Diego as Research Assistant AND our Volunteer Coordinator, researching/maintaining projects/and assisting with grant writing.




Cassie Boothe is Outreach Specialist and a recent graduate of UC Riverside where she studied Business Economics and Art History. During her studies she was a leader of a campus humanitarian group and has since discovered that is where her passion lies. Cassie is eager to join the Difference Makers International team and to learn as much about the nonprofit community as possible in the process of helping DMI reach our goals. Cassie’s greatest dream is to one day travel to Ghana and volunteer her time and efforts there.



John is our newest Research Assistant, he graduated from the University of San Diego with a Bachelors in International Relations in 2010. John has had the chance to travel extensively and believes that this led him into the IR field of study.  He is originally from Sweden, but has lived in San Diego for the past four years. He is excited to join Difference Makers International to experience first-hand how the non-profit sector flows, and is hoping he can use some of his previous knowledge to help the DMI team out.   WELCOME to the team John!



Anna is our Business Development Volunteer and a Flex Evening MBA student at UC San Diego where she is studying management and organizational development. Anna’s background is in consulting and she has over seven years of experience in government financial management and program management.  Anna decided that she wants to make a difference in the lives of others after volunteering some time as a Big Sister at the Big Sister League of San Diego.  Anna is eager to use her knowledge and experiences to help Difference Makers International bring their Blue Ribbons into businesses and organizations around the world.  WELCOME to the team Anna!



Greatest Dream: To spend a month exploring the island of Australia

Kim Garrett is an angel sent from the heavens to manage Difference Makers International Fulfillment Center. Her accounting background also serves the team by keeping accurate and up-to-date records. With this information we are able to support our customers’ needs immediately. Kim has a B.A. in accounting from Utah Valley University and twenty years experience in the accounting industry. She resides in Lehi, Utah with her husband and dog Gretzky. In her spare time she likes to golf, play softball and spend time with her family.
