FUN SURVEY RESULTS! In our July Newsletter we asked you the following questions: 1. Who is more likely to volunteer? Youth or Adults?
2. California has the largest number of people volunteering in their state? TRUE or FALSE?
3. Do you volunteer? If so where?
Question 1: 75% answered youth and 25% answered adults. ANSWER: YOUTH - Young people volunteered twice the rate of adults with 55% of young people volunteering, compared to 29% of adults.
Question 2: 63% answered true and 37% answered false. ANSWER: TRUE: California had the largest number of volunteers serving in their state, with about 7.1 million in 2008—almost 12 percent of all the volunteers in America.
Question 3: 85% actively volunteer and 15% are not volunteers at this time ANSWER: People volunteer at schools, parks, nonprofits, STORM Camp, Heatlh Suppor Groups, Youth FB Program, education boards and hospitals!

FUN SURVEY RESULTS! For our June Newsletter we asked you the following questions: 1. Does the average child hear more positive or more negative messages a day?
2. What is the estimated percentage of youth in the United States involved in bullying as either a bully, or a target of bullying, or both? 25%, 30% or 50%?
3. "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me." ? True OR False?
Question 1: 100% of the people answered correctly. ANSWER: Negative
Question 2: 4% of the people answered 25%, 20% of the people answered 30% and 76% of the people answered 50%. ANSWER: 30%
Question 3: 7% answered TRUE, 93% answered FALSE ANSWER: False
